Baltimore Convention Center Transportation

BWI to Pratt Street is a short transfer by big-city standards: up the Baltimore-Washington Parkway or I-95 and in on I-395, usually 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. Penn Station, where Amtrak and MARC trains arrive, is about two miles north of the Convention Center. We meet air passengers at the arrivals curb, or inside baggage claim with a name sign if you add meet and greet, and rail passengers at the station entrance. When the Orioles are at home the streets around Camden Yards are partly restricted, so chauffeurs switch to the Charles Street or Conway Street side as needed.

Send us your arrival manifest and we will sort attendees by landing time and terminal into sedans, SUVs and 14-passenger Sprinters, so VIPs get a private car and teams ride together. During the event we can run hotel loops for properties that are not within walking distance, and evening shuttles to receptions in Harbor East, Fells Point or Federal Hill. Planners get a single dispatch contact, real-time updates when flights slip and one consolidated invoice. Sprinter and event reservations may be cancelled without charge up to 12 hours before pickup, sedans and SUVs up to 3 hours.

Exhibitors often arrive with display cases and sample stock that are awkward in a taxi; a Suburban or Sprinter takes them from the airport to the loading area or hotel in one trip. Speakers and executives with a tight day use an hourly car to move between the Convention Center, client offices downtown, Johns Hopkins or the University of Maryland campuses and the airport without stopping to arrange each ride. Many visitors also add a day trip to Washington or Annapolis at the end of a conference, which we quote as a flat-rate transfer or an hourly tour.
