How We Match the Right Seat to Your Child
Maryland law requires children under 8 (and under 4'9") to ride in a federally approved car seat or booster, and we take that requirement as seriously as you do. When you book, just tell us your child's age and weight — we bring an infant seat, convertible seat, or belt-positioning booster sized correctly for them, not a one-size-fits-all seat that technically clips in but doesn't fit right.
Every seat we carry is inspected for recalls and expiration before each trip, and our chauffeurs are trained to install it correctly rather than leaving it loose or improperly angled. If you're traveling with more than one child, let us know the ages of each so we can bring the right number and type of seats — our Sprinter vans can accommodate multiple car seats for larger families without anyone squeezed in.
Prefer to use your own seat? That's fine too — just mention it when you book and your chauffeur will help you install and remove it at both ends of the trip, same as with our equipment.

Is there an extra charge for car seats?
Car seats are available on request for a small add-on fee that is included in your flat-rate quote up front — no surprises at pickup. Let us know how many seats you need when you book and we will confirm the exact price.
What age/weight car seats do you provide?
We provide three types: infant car seats for babies 0-12 months up to 22 lbs, convertible car seats for children 1-4 years, and booster seats for children 4-8 years. Tell us your child's age and weight when booking and we will bring the correct seat.
How do I request a car seat?
Simply add the car seat to your reservation when booking online, note it in the special requests, or call us at 877-609-1919. We will confirm the seat type with you before your trip and have it installed before pickup.
Are the car seats clean and sanitized?
Yes. Every car seat is inspected, cleaned, and sanitized before each trip. Our chauffeurs check straps, buckles, and padding, and each seat is properly installed in the vehicle before your pickup.
Can I bring my own car seat?
Absolutely. You are welcome to bring your own car seat, and your chauffeur will help install it and stow it during your trip. If you are flying, we can also store it with your luggage at no extra charge.
