SECU Arena Transportation
SECU Arena anchors Towson University's athletic campus, hosting Colonial Athletic Association basketball, commencement ceremonies, and a steady calendar of concerts and family shows. On a game night or graduation weekend, the surrounding campus streets fill quickly and nearby garages reach capacity fast, which makes a pre-arranged chauffeur the simplest way to avoid circling York Road for a spot.
We regularly handle both ends of a SECU Arena trip — a flat-rate transfer from BWI, DCA or Dulles for an out-of-town family in for commencement, and a straightforward drop-off and pickup for a Towson-area resident catching a weeknight game.

Game nights and commencement weekends
Colonial Athletic Association basketball draws a loyal crowd to SECU Arena, and a sellout or rivalry night can fill the arena's own lot and the overflow campus garages within an hour of tip-off. Commencement ceremonies bring an even larger single-day surge, with families converging from out of town on a tight schedule around the ceremony's start and end time. In both cases, a chauffeur who already knows which campus entrance to use and where to stage for pickup saves real time compared to searching for street parking on York Road or Osler Drive.
Concerts and family shows
Beyond athletics, SECU Arena books touring concerts, graduation-season events for other regional schools, and family shows throughout the year. Each draws a different crowd and a different traffic pattern around the Towson University campus, and our dispatch team adjusts pickup timing to the specific event rather than treating every arena night the same.
Combining a BWI or DCA transfer with the arena trip
Families flying in for a Towson University commencement or a Colonial Athletic Association tournament weekend often need both an airport transfer and arena transportation on the same visit. Booking both with the same chauffeured service means one point of contact for the whole trip rather than coordinating two separate reservations — see our [BWI airport car service](/bwi-airport-car-service) and [Towson limo service](/towson-limo-service) pages for the surrounding coverage.

Frequently asked questions
How far is SECU Arena from BWI Airport?
About 17 miles, typically 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic. We run flat-rate, flight-tracked transfers for commencement and game-weekend travel.
Is parking difficult at SECU Arena on game nights?
Yes, especially for a sellout or rivalry game and for commencement ceremonies, when the arena's own lot and nearby campus garages fill quickly. A pre-arranged drop-off and pickup avoids the search entirely.
Do you provide transportation for Towson University commencement?
Yes. We regularly handle both airport transfers for out-of-town families and arena drop-off and pickup timed to the ceremony's schedule.
Can you pick up a large family group after a game or ceremony?
Yes. A 14-passenger Sprinter van keeps a larger family or group together for the pickup rather than splitting across multiple vehicles.
Do you charge more for a sold-out event night?
No. Our flat rates do not change based on event demand, unlike rideshare pricing near a packed arena.
